Excision
Working with one of the world’s biggest names in dubstep, Excision, this project was built for a sold-out Thunderdome show, delivering a high-impact visual experience across 7 massive LED screens.
With full creative freedom, the goal was to create something dark, aggressive, and unforgettable—true to Excision’s signature sound. In just 2 weeks, a fully custom hell-themed 3D environment was designed and brought to life, centered around the iconic X symbol, restrained by chains and surrounded by chaotic, fire-driven destruction.
The concept focused on tension and release—building a sense of containment before the visuals explode into pure energy, perfectly synced to the music. The result was a cinematic, high-intensity visual system that amplified the raw power of the performance.

Creative Responsibilities
Concept Development & Direction – Created the full visual concept from scratch, centered around Excision’s iconic X symbol and a hellish, chained environment.
3D Environment Design – Built a custom, high-detail fiery world designed specifically for large-scale LED playback.
Multi-Screen Execution – Optimized visuals across 7 LED screens, ensuring cohesive composition and impact from every angle.
Animation & FX – Designed dynamic flame simulations, chain physics, and destruction effects to match the intensity of the music.
Audio-Reactive Motion – Synced key moments—flame bursts, chain tension, and logo impacts—to the beat for maximum crowd impact.
Environment & Assets
To bring the concept to life, a series of custom-built assets and effects were developed, including:
The Iconic X Symbol – Central hero element, restrained by chains before violently breaking free.
Chain System – Heavy, metallic chains used to build tension and visual storytelling through constraint and release.
Fire & Lava FX – High-intensity flame simulations and molten environments to create a hell-like atmosphere.
Destruction Animations – Impact-driven moments where the logo breaks containment and smashes through the scene in sync with the music.
Cinematic Environment – A fully custom 3D world designed to feel massive, immersive, and aggressive on large-scale LED screens.
